Globe-Law received the outstanding legal-service award from the Belt-and-Road Initiative.

On December 12, the Awarding Ceremony of the Third “Belt and Road” Excellent Legal Service Projects and the “Belt and Road” High-End Forum on Legal Services hosted by the Legal Daily and undertaken by www.legaldaily.com.cn were held in Beijing.
The purpose of this grand meeting is to show the whole society the important role played by legal services in the construction of the “Belt and Road”, summarize and popularize the successful experience of legal services in the “Belt and Road”, deeply tap the typical cases of international legal services in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and properly tell the story of China in the construction of the community of destiny in the “Belt and Road”.
The “RCEP Text Review Legal Service” project undertaken by Guan Jian, a partner of GLOBE-LAW LAW FIRM, was selected as the excellent legal service cases of the “Belt and Road • Health Road”.
On November 15, 2020, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and ten ASEAN countries signed the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Lawyer Guan Jian led the International Trade Team of GLOBE-LAW LAW FIRM to accept the entrustment from China Ministry of Commerce to provide legal services for RCEP text review.
A round-table dialogue was held at the same time. Under the theme- “how to prevent and control the legal risks of overseas investment under the background of major public health events in the world?”, Wang Zhengzhi, director of GLOBE-LAW LAW FIRM, started a dialogue with other guests.
This award is the second time that GLOBE-LAW LAW FIRM has been awarded the “Belt and Road” excellent legal service project award. In 2018, the first “Belt and Road” excellent legal service project awarding ceremony was held. GLOBE-LAW LAW FIRM was selected in the Top Ten Law Firms of the “Belt and Road”, director Wang Zhengzhi was selected in the Top Ten Legal Service Workers of the “Belt and Road”, and the case of Shougang Group responding to high tariffs on imported steel products imposed by the Turkish Ministry of Economy represented by lawyer Guan Jian was selected in the top ten legal service cases in the “Belt and Road” dispute resolution.
