Gaobo Longhua Patent Agency, founded in 1985, established Gaobo Longhua Law Firm in Beijing in July 2001, which formally became Globe-Law Law Firm (the “Beijing Office”) as approved by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice on 20 May 2010. After two decades of tests and challenges, Globe-Law now offers services covering areas such as intellectual property, international trade, dispute resolution, government legal affairs, general corporate business, maritime affairs, domestic and overseas investment and labour law. Now, we have become a major general law firm that provides efficient, high-quality and all-round professional legal services to clients at home and abroad.

The Beijing Office has 147 staff members, among them 101 are certified lawyers. All of our lawyers are graduates of renowned tertiary institutions at home and abroad, and over 80% of them have a master's or doctoral degree and over 60% have more than 10 years' experience. Many of our lawyers are also part-time lecturers or visiting professors at renowned Chinese universities, while some serve as arbitrators at arbitration bodies such as the World Intellectual Property Organization, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, China Maritime Arbitration Commission, Beijing Arbitration Commission and Shanghai International Arbitration Center.

Firmly guided by the Party-building initiatives, Globe-Law has been upholding the principle of “promoting Party building through development and vice versa”. Under the effective leadership of its general Party branch, Globe-Law has accomplished remarkable results and many of its classic intellectual property cases have been included among the “top ten cases of the Supreme People's Court”, “fifty classic Chinese intellectual property cases of the Supreme People's Court”, “top ten intellectual property protection cases of foreign-owned enterprises of Beijing”, “top ten intellectual property cases of Beijing” and “top ten cases of the Patent Reexamination and Invalidation Department of the China National Intellectual Property Administration”. Globe-Law has also been publishing the China Intellectual Property Index Report each year since 2009, which is regarded as major literature on China’s intellectual property rights by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
